Letter regarding telegrams received from Pelly regarding a confession to the poisoning of Colonel Robert Phayre, and informing Pelly that there will need to be corroborative evidence as a confession alone would not be sufficient.
The letter also discusses Dadabhoy's resignation, which Lord Northbrook was still awaiting an explanation for, and expressing his confidence in Pelly.
The letter has been incorrectly dated as 1875 instead of 1874.
