Nautical chart of the southern coast of the Arabian Peninsula from Bab-el-Mandeb Strait to the east of Ridah [Ar Raydah, Yemen] compiled from the surveys carried out by the Bombay Marine’s officers between 1820 and 1829.
Includes eight inset maps with latitude and longitude variations reported: ‘Mugatayn’, ‘Bel’aaf’, ‘Bunder Broom, ‘Shahah Roads’, ‘Sharma’, ‘Shugra’, ‘Gosier’h’ and ‘Island of Socotra and adjacent parts’.
Numerous notations on topographic features, regions with the approximate location of the major tribes and details of their subdivision inserted on the map.
