- William Newnham acknowledges receipt of the Resident's despatch dated 3 September and transmits an original letter from the Governor of Bombay for delivery to the Prince of Fars, dated 7 November 1826. A translated copy is enclosed. The letter concerns the affairs of the Shaikh of Bushire, Abdool Russool Khan [‘Abd al-Rasūl Khān].
