- Scope & Content:
- Report of the Madras Medical Board regarding the successes in inoculating European and Native troops. The Board advise that inoculation be spread throughout the local population, and recommend appointing a Surgeon to oversee the various districts in Madras, and that local Brahmin inoculators be employed. Free food is to be distributed during the inoculation season, which is recommended to begin following the monsoons, at December by the latest.
