Memo from J F Beatson, Surgeon General Indian Medical Department to the Home Department, Government of India, enclosing reports received from Army and Indian Medical Department officers throughout the Bengal Presidency on experiments with mixed cinchona alkaloids - cinchonidine and the cinchona febrifuge - manufactured at Rugbee by the Government Quinologist.
Containing details of treatment preparations; treatment regimens; descriptions of various fevers; notes from case books (full and extracts), including details of native patients; statistics; opinions on the efficiency and efficacy of the treatments when compared with quinine and quinidine.
