- Coll 1, Application from the Lahore Literary and Scientific Institution to occupy rent free the Barrack room at Anarkullee [Anarkali], February to November 1857.
- Coll 2, Proposed establishment of a lunatic asylum at Indore, March 1857 to January 1858.
- Coll 3, Correspondence regarding the proposed construction of a jail hospital and dispensary at Sehore, April 1857 to January 1858.
- Coll 4, Report on the visit of Hermann Schlagintweit to Katmandu, March 1857 to January 1858.
- Coll 5, Correspondence regarding the supercession of Captain J C Haughton by Captain Briggs, a junior officer, to the post of Deputy Commissioner at Amherst, December 1856 to February 1858.

- Coll 20, Correspondence relating to a claim preferred by H Lewis, Master Attendant at Rangoon, for compensation for loss of property by fire on the 7th December 1856, including a list of the property destroyed, March 1857 to July 1858.
- Coll 21, Application from Lieutenant Aylesbury, Master Attendant at Dalhousie, for compensation for loss of his kit while endeavouring to save Government property during a violent hurricane on the 27th May 1857 at Dalhousie, July 1857 to July 1858 (includes a list of the articles lost).
- Coll 22, Correspondence regarding the erection of temporary buildings for a bazar at Toungoo, September 1857 to July 1858.
- Coll 23, Correspondence regarding the death of Assistant Surgeon J C K Bond, Civil Surgeon of Moulmein, and the appointment of Assistant Surgeon D M Falconer in his place, October 1857 to July 1858.
- Coll 24, Special allowance of 150 rupees per month granted to Dr Ebden as Superintendent of Dispensaries and Vaccinators in Rajputana, September 1857 to August 1858.
- Coll 25, Appointment of Dr Henry Ebden as an Honorary Extra Assistant with the Rajputana Agency, December 1857 to August 1858.
- Coll 26, Annual report by Dr H Ebden, Rajputana Agency Surgeon, of operations in the dispensaries in Rajputana during the year ending 30th June 1857.
- Coll 27, Reports from the Commissioner of Pegu regarding the specimens of sulphur and sulphuret of iron supposed to have been brought from Yanan, and the lead ore discovered near Amarapura, August 1857 to September 1858.
- Coll 28, Report by the Central Committee of Examination on the result of the special examination of assistants and extra assistants in the Punjab held in November 1857. The men examined were R F Saunders, J B Smyly, W C Plowden, Motee Lall, H E Perkins, C W Aitchison, T H Thornton, C Minchin and J S Ross.
