pp 853-77. Reports received from Ronald Ross, criticising the anti-malarial operations conducted at Mian Mir, and proposing additional measures to reduce the numbers of anopheles mosquitoes. Comprising reports by Ross: the Prevention of Malaria in India; the Anti-Malaria Experiment at Mian Mir; plus remarks made by Colonel Crombie, President of the section of Tropical Medicine, British Medical Association meeting at Oxford 1904.
Plus accompanying correspondence between the Royal Society Malaria Commission, the Director-General of the Indian Medical Service, the Chief Commissioner of Assam, and branches of the Indian Tea Association.
The file ends with a communication from the Government of India to the Secretary of State regarding Ross' criticism of the Mian Mir experiment; and his suggestions for the prevention of malaria among the civil population, the troops and the labourers on the tea gardens at Asssam.
