pp 565-79. Communication from the Government of the Punjab to the Government of India regarding the former's proposal of the construction of a new hospital at Simla, enclosing: Report of the Simla Hospitals Committee; note by the Inspector-General of Civil Hospitals, Punjab.
Communication from the Government of India to the Government of the Punjab regarding the above, and recommending the adoption of the scheme proposed in Home Department letter no. 960, dated 11 August 1909, with amendments. Recommended that the Walker Hospital provde three grades of accomodation - free ward, hospital proper, and private wards - and that suitable maternity wards for poorer Europeans be supplied in or adjoining the Dufferin Hospital.
