The diagram shows a cross-section of a configuration of valves and other fittings at the top of an oil well, commonly referred to as a Christmas tree.
The diagram is labelled ‘fig.3’, and is part of a number of other figures (1, 2, 4 and 5) which are included on a blueprint plan also in the file (f 117). All five diagrams relate to the construction of tubing bombs, text instructions for which are given above figure 3 (on this folio) and on the following folio (f 116).
