Aerial photograph mosaic of the Hawar Group of Islands.
The mosaic was compiled by RAF Shaibah using aerial photogrammetry, a technique which uses photographs to survey an area of the Earth's surface. The technique uses an overlapping series of photographs taken from an aircraft following a set flight pattern at a fixed altitude.
