Map to accompany the draft agreement for the 'leased area Bahrain' presented by Petroleum Concessions Limited to the Shaikh of Bahrain 16 January 1939.
Enlarged in Land Department, Government of Bahrain.
Blueprint, with outlines and places given in white ink.
The proposed area is marked on the map using a single line in red ink. This area covers all the territorial islands of Bahrain including the Hawar Islands, Fasht Dibal [Fasht ad Dībal], Fasht al Jarim [Fasht al Jārim], and Khor Fisht [Khawr Fasht]. One point on the right of the area marked gives its longitude and latitude co-ordinates.
Two areas are also marked on the map with red hatches; one covering an area on the north of the mainland of Bahrain, and the other covering Muharraq island which is also labelled as a 'reserved area'.
