State troops posed with the bullock-drawn gun carriages and gold and silver salute cannons. 'One gold and one silver gun of the State are kept in the L.F. Battery. The gold gun contains 280lb. weight of solid gold, and is drawn by splendid milk-white bullocks stabled hard by' (Murray's Handbook to India...).
