Mitton, Scott of the Shan Hills (London, 1936), facing p.252, and captioned 'Camp at Nam Palo near Na Fan. Here the party stopped for the night of Easter Sunday (1897) after having been 'shot at all the way' for days'. This print links up with Photo 92/2 (19) to form a panoramic view of the village and camp.
