Includes first-hand accounts by Sir Joseph Dickson, Physician to His Majesty's Legation at the Court of Persia, of the sanitary conference held in Tehran, Mar-Apr 1876; translated letter from the Persian Minister for Foreign Affairs to Mr Taylur Thomson; plus extensive telegram correspondence between the Secretary of State, the Viceroy of India, the Foreign Secretary, and Her Majesty's Minister at Tehran.
