General view of the wood and canvas model of the replica of the Holwell Monument which Lord Curzon placed in front of the Bengal Secretariat (originally Writers' Buildings) to replace the lost original (demolished in 1821). Curzon's copy was in its turn later removed and now stands in an obscure corner of the grounds of St John's Church.
