Chhatri or pavilion, with brackets in the form of carved figures. 'This little shrine is built of white marble and alabaster, it is placed in the same enclosure as the temple...and is said to cover the slab on which the Swamee Narayan used to sit while preaching or receiving the adoration of his followers; the mark of his foot is said to be imprinted on the stone...The three storied building behind the shrine was also built by the followers of the saint as an abode for the priests and others engaged in the temple, and seems at present literally to swarm with inhabitants' (E.D. Lyon, Notes to accompany a series of photographs designed to illustrate the ancient architecture of Western India (Geneva, 1871), p. 13). Duplicate (later printing) of Photo 1000 (3245).
