View across the court towards the two minars of the mosque. 'Next to this [the Jami Masjid] in interest is the Bibi Masjid...but is of an entirely different design...It has a closed front, and the minars are placed one on either side of the central entrance and not at the ends of the building. The whole is now a ruin, but was found worthy of delineation' (Henry Cousens, 'Progress Report of the Archaeological Survey of Western India, for the months May 1893 to April 1894', p. 2.). Also described in A. Cunningham, 'Report of a tour in the Central Provinces in 1873-74 and 1874-75' (A.S.I. vol. IX, Calcutta, 1879), pp. 115-117. Another copy of this print at Photo 1002 (1256).
