Includes communications received from the Government of Bombay; Brigadier-General F A E Loch, Political Resident, Aden; C A Cookson, Consul at Egypt; and T Chichele Plowden, Political Agent in Turkish Arabia and HBM Consul General, Baghdad, forwarding telegrams received from local health and administrative officials reporting on plague outbreaks, and commenting on the quarantine procedures in place.
Plus copy rules sanctioned by the Governor General in Council to establish quarantine in Bombay and Karachi.
