View along the water’s edge of a shingle beach with a row of fishermen sitting huddled behind their giant umbrellas. Mounted on card 405 x 303 mm, inscribed '118/ 2213.36a' and '14'. Exhibited in Barbican Gallery, Room Four (Sea). Published in 'The Edge of The Land' (London: Jonathan Cape, 1995) p.138 and 'Bison at Chalk Farm' (London: Routledge and Kegan Paul, 1982) plate 23 where it is titled 'Umbrella Family, Dungeness'. The contact sheet has been dated 1975.
