Square format print of a shop front that seems to be in a residential street and which has a poster in the window announcing that it is for sale; painted along the bottom panelling there is a sign in Urdu, which reads ‘Fresh halal fish’ and in English (underneath) ‘Fish & Chips’. Mounted on card 608 x 506 mm, inscribed '194/ 58.1'. Exhibited in Barbican Gallery, Room Seven (Bradford). Published in 'Landmarks: A Survey' (Stockport: Dewi Lewis Publishing, 2001) p.126.
