The base of flag pole with wires securing it to the ground, this causes the sky to be cut into rhomboid shapes. In the background there is a hut (possibly a converted train carriage), a Martello tower, ice cream van and car park. The protective cover shows the crop lines and reproduction measurements. Published on page 146 of 'The Edge of The Land' (London: Jonathan Cape, 1995). Image size 150 mm x 228 mm.
