A slate footpath leads from the foreground to the distant hills; to the far right there is the reservoir which is lit by the sun that is trying to break through the overcast sky. Published on page 18 of 'Remains of Elmet' (London: Faber, 1979) and on page 35 of 'Elmet' (London: Faber, 1994) where it accompanies Ted Hughes' poem 'Moors'; also published in ‘Land’ (London: Heinemann, 1985) p.71 and 'Landmarks: A Survey' (Stockport: Dewi Lewis Publishing, 2001) p.76 also chosen for the retrospective exhibition 'Landmarks' held at the Barbican, 2001. Prints 16-23 are titled, prints 16 and 17 are signed, print 18 is priced; several of the prints have reproduction information or measurements written on the verso.
