Genre: Architectural Photography
General view of the tomb tower, with party on horseback in front of the structure: 'In the afternoon we left the marsh and rode to Mil-i-Radkan, or 'Tower of Radkan.' This structure stands eighty feet high and measures one hundred and fifty feet in circumference, with an obliterated Kufic inscription; it was probably built to serve as a tomb, and perhaps dates from the eleventh century. Legend connects it with the Nizam-ul-Mulk, the famous Seljuk vizier, and quite possibly it was erected to serve as his sepulchre.'
