Portrait of Dr Charles Macpherson (1870-1927), Organist of St Paul's Cathedral 1916-27, in Amen Corner, St Paul's Cathedral, possibly at the start of the tour of India and Ceylon which he made in 1925 as Examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. The portrait forms the frontispiece of a diary describing the tour.
