Print mounted on card. Photographic copy of a portrait of two Sikh officers, signed by P.A. de Lazlo and dated 1916. With a copy of a letter from Mrs I. Portal to Dr R. Bingle of the India Office, dated 26 August 1986, identifying the sitters as Maharaja Diraj Bhupindra Singh of Patiala and (more tentatively) the Maharaja of Jind or 'one of the minor Sikh states.' The photograph is inscribed in pencil on the mount from de Lazlo to Lieutenant-Colonel J.R. Dunlop-Smith.
