- Black-and-white printed map, which is part of a larger document entitled Navy (Fuel Oil).Agreement with the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, Limited, published by HM’s Stationery Office, 1914 (ff 301-319). The map indicates the areas visited and oil shows not examined by an Admiralty Oil Commission, which toured the region around the Persian Gulf in 1913. Areas visited are indicated by a double underline under the place name. Oil shows not examined are indicated by a single underline under the place name. The coastline of the Gulf, and river systems feeding into the Gulf, are the only geographic features detailed.
