Dimensions: parchment only approximately 200 x 140 mm; text approximately 165 x 110 mm.

Origin: ? Durham, 1st quarter of the 12th century: The main scribe of this manuscript may be the same as the scribe of Durham Cathedral Library, B II 26. Symeon of Durham added the rubrication and some marginalia to this item (see Gullick, 'Hand of Symeon' (1998), p. 28).
Provenance:
Sir Simonds d'Ewes (b.1602, d. 1650), 1st baronet, diarist, antiquary: inscribed 'Rarissimum exemplar MS' (f. 37v). His number '43' is on f. 28r.
