"Dong'An" persimmon.

Flowering and fruiting branch of a persimmon tree. Brown-blueish coloured branching twig, with one large fruit and a pedicel without the fruit depicted; alternate elliptic leaves with golden pinnate veins. The pedicel is constituted by four light green bracts, joined by the round edge of the pedicel. The fruit is round and bright orange. At the top of the twig, two small corymb inflorescence, each with three flowers. The lower inflorescence has bloomed flowers, which show thin green sepals, and pale orange-pink petals. The upper inflorescence shows three closed, round buds. Along the bottom of the page: illustration of a dissected flower, showing seventeen individual stamens, one rounded lobes receptacle, flower corolla, and pedicel with two small bracts, pubescent ovary and four sepals. The fruit pedicel showing four oblong green bracts and fruit attachment seen from the bottom. Lower right: horizontally dissected fruit, showing interior light orange flesh and oblong seeds, which are arranged in a stellate fashion; three white seeds on each side, and two reddish between the white ones at the top and bottom ends of the fruit.
