Flowering branch of an white flower Bauhinia plant. One main twig with four secondary twigs branching out laterally. Branch brown and smooth. On each twig, opposite, obcordate leaves with entire margins and palmate veins. Leaves are dark green colour with light green underside. Few leaves show decayed, brown edges, most of the leaf eaten out. At the top of each twig, a corymb inflorescence with numerous elongated buds. Buds are yellow with pink marks. Few bloomed flowers on each twig. Flowers are funnel-shaped, with five white oblong petals, and four pink stamens with orange anthers. Petal margins are serrated. On the lower left twig, one small tendril curls and shows behind one leaf. Lower left corner: illustration of dissected flowers members, including one set of six small stamens, three longer stamens, green pedicel with bi-round ovary, and pink style, five petals.
