Flowering branch of an unidentified pink flower Prunus species tree. Woody, light brown brown, with leaves clustered at the apex of each twig, mostly dark green, elliptic-elongated, with serrate margins and pinnate veins. Nodes along branches are hairy, branch is otherwise light brown and smooth. Several closed or semi-closed buds along the main twigs, light green sepals enclose pink petals. On the left: two bloomed flowers, one depicted laterally, one front-facing and another partially front-facing. Flowers show compound corolla constituted of several layers of petals, elliptic with pointy end, and darker pink longitudinal marks. In the middle of the flower: a crown of yellow stamens. On the right: one flower depicted without petals, with numerous stamens visible, pink filaments and yellow anthers. Lower right: illustration of dissected five elliptic pink petals of different sizes; a hairy pedicel with yellowish ovary and five pink sepals, and one elongate and sinuous pink style and stigma; seven stamens showing pink filaments and globular yellow anthers.
