Flowering branch of an unidentified bulbose, pink flower plant. Thick and erect, light green, smooth branches with pink nodes with large, obcordate leaves with slightly serrate margins. Leaf blade dark green on top, with red compound palmate veins visible in relief underneath; pale light green underside, with reticulate veinlets. Leaves are ondulate, and of increasing smaller size toward the top of the branchlets. Lower left leaf decaying, with brown edges. At the apex of the branches, racemose inflorescences. Pendulous pink flowers on long and slender pink pedicels; four round petals with yellow compound pistil protruding beyond them. Few globulose buds, completely pink including petals and sepals. Along the bottom of the page: dissected view of the flower members, including two small round, pink bracts, one long, pink pedicel with obovate pink sepals, yellow pistil, two round petals. Further to the right: pink pedicel with round cluster of dotted orange stamens, four pink petals. Lower right: light brown root bulb with thin and sinuous, hairy like dark brown rootlets, attached to lower part of the stem, pale yellow to green.
