Flowering twig of an orange-white honeysuckle plant. One, woody brown branch, with three smaller and thinner red leaved branchlets. Leaves arranged opposite on each twig, leaf blade elliptic dark green in colour with pinnate veins. On the apex of each side twig, cyme inflorescences with pale orange flowers. Corolla funnel-shape with petals curling inward; stamens erect protruding from the middle of the flower. On the right twig, flowers are similarly arranged but two are white, and along the stem there is a small inflorescence composed of three long buds. Lower left: dissected view of the pedicel, with long erect pistil, and flower corolla, showing sketched petals with five stamens. Lower right: small twig bearing fruit. Twig is smooth and slender, dark brown, adorned with opposite light green leaves. At the top: a cluster of elongated fruit berries on brownish pedicels; three berries along the upper part of the twig. Beneath: dissected view of the fruit showing interior white flesh and long, dark seed.
