Original inscriptions: 水葡萄 (front lower left in ink); 四月開 (reverse lower left in ink); Sheui-pou-tow (reverse lower right in pencil)

One dark brown, nodose branch with few lanceolate, pointed leaves with entire margins and opposite veins. A cluster of four flowers on the right, white greenish petals, on reddish sepals and greyish pedicels. Lower left: dissected view of the flower; lower right: dissected view of the fruit berry. Fruit is round, pale orange skin, with white flesh; to its right depictionof one big, round, brown seed.
