Original inscriptions: [in nastaliq] ‘This is called Katās. From the nose to the skull 4 inches, from the skull to the hindquarters 11 inches’ [17?], ‘from the top of the tail to the tip of the tail 15 inches, from the knee to the sole of the foot 8 inches, from the shoulder to the sole of the foot 8 inches. Dated 13th July 1804, by Mirza Sanghi Beg.’ [on reverse] ‘In Bengal they call it Muchy Bili from its living chiefly of fish.’
