Inscribed above in Persian: ‘‘amal-i raghunandan’ (the work of Raghunandan); Persian inventory note (not numbered); a couplet written in ‘nasta‘liq’ calligraphy above the miniature translates: ‘The comb does not reach her tress even if there is a dawn wind/ Sulma does not reach her eye if it should become modesty’.
Gouache with gold; on an album leaf with inner pink border with waving foliage in gold, middle gold floral border, and outer plain border.
