Gouache with gold; mounted with borders of blue and pink paper; backed with European paper by the Library.
104 by 71 mm; page 162 by 130 mm, extended to 303 by 198 mm.
A horseman is in combat with two foot-soldiers, one of whom lies in the foreground pierced by two arrows, as the other falls under the horseman’s sword.
Note: This is probably the prototype for the versions of the same subject in Johnson Albums 31 and 32.
