This image is also known as 'The Woodcutters - Nicole and Pullen Sawing and Cleaving' (print 389). Hand-colouring by Mr Mansion, assistant to Antoine Claudet (From Larry J. Schaaf, 'The Photographic Art of William Henry Fox Talbot' (Princeton University Press, Princeton and London, 2000), p. 226). Trimmed print laid down on card.
