An extremely faded print, with image near-invisible image, showing Nicolaas Henneman seated at a table in front of a white backdrop, with a half-filled wine decanter, posed in the act of raising a glass to his mouth. A similar version of this photograph exists at The National Museum of Photography, where the sitter is identified as Charles Porter. Chemistry float-applied on paper 188 x 225 mm.
The original paper negative for this print, dated 19 April 1842 in Talbot's hand on the reverse, is held in the collections of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (Inv.RP-F-AA3369).
