ff. 85r–92r: Censorinus, De caeli positione, ‘Incipit phenomena arati in astro nomina. de cęli positione et quinque circulis mundi. et de similitudinibus celi. Celum circulis quinque distinguitur quorum duo extremi maxime frigidi.’
ff. 92v–95v: Virgilian cento, ‘Puplii uirgilii maronis astronomice artis liber incipit. Sepe malum hoc nobis fremens non leua fuisset. … Extulerat lucem referens opera atque labores.’ Followed by a quotation from Cicero, De natura deorum 1.87, ‘Sol duabus unius orbis ultimis … spatia conficiunt.’
ff. 96r–103v: Aratus, trans. Germanicus, Phaenomena: ‘Incipit astronomia arati astrologi filii athenodori et delitophile. Ab ioue principium magno deduxit aratus. … Et circum positos armaret in equora fratres. Explicit phenomena arati.’
Decoration:
Large initial in blue with red penwork decoration, and in red with blue penwork decoration (f. 89). Large and small simple initials in red, some with penwork decoration. Small initials in brown ink. Spaces left for initials.
