The map is the fifth in a series of five sketch maps illustrating Report on minor operations undertaken by the South Persia Rifles from the 28th March to the 25th July 1917, Appendix No.3. Report on the action of the Kafta against the Kurshulli (ff 4-6).
The map shows a region to the south-west of Dehbid, Persia, and is a rough plan of operations, providing some indication of topography and relief, and the locations and movements of British forces and local tribes.
Signed by Major J P B Williams, Commanding Column, and published in October 1917 by the Simla Drawing Office – 'S.D.O. No. 2055, Oct. 1917.'.
