The map illustrates the expected operational range of Westland Wapiti aircraft over Afghanistan from projected bases at Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, and Farah. The radius of operation from each of these sites is shown through the use of different coloured crayon: red (Kabul), blue (Kandahar), green (Herat), and brown (Farah). The purpose of the map is to illustrate the prospective range of an Afghan Air Force equipped with British aircraft.
The scale of the map is 1 inch to 64 miles.
