1 large puzzle initial in blue, red, and gold, featuring a coat of arms inside the letter (ff. 4r). 1 large gold initial with foliate decoration in blue, green, and red (f. 22r). Display script in blue, green, gold, red, and yellow (ff. 3r, 21r, 22r, 83r, 83v). Rubrics in red ink. Simple initials in blue, red, and yellow.
Each part of the manuscript is preceded by a title-page added by Sir Simonds d'Ewes (ff. 2r; 83) (see Watson, The Library of Sir Simonds D'Ewes (1966) no. A465; no. E72).
