This map depicts the territorial dispositions of the Persian Army and focuses mainly on Persia and its neighbouring countries. The monochrome map is marked with red to show the various divisions of Persia and the most prominent native groups in each area. Divisional Headquarters are marked by small red flags. The map within the neat line is irregularly shaped.
The map bears the printing statement: 'S[imla].D[rawing].O[ffice]. No. 4157. Sept. 1925. Reg. no. 837E. D. D. 1925'. The map was produced by General Staff, India, and heliozincographed at the Survey of India Office in Dehra Dun.
