A map is comprised of three separate Survey of India sheets stuck together, and covering the frontier region between Persia [Iran], British Baluchistan [in present-day Pakistan] and Afghanistan, around the town of Mirjāwā [Mīrjāveh]. The bottom left quarter of the map is a blank sheet. The map indicates: hydrology; topography, with indication of relief; settlements; railways and roads; marshland areas. Marked on the map in ink are two lines, one red, one blue.
The top two quarters of the map are covered with mesh lines, annotated with figures indicating minutes. A note at the top of the map states that each square measures approximately 1,767 yards W to E (longitude), and 2,202 yards S to N (latitude).
