Translation of a rukum [raqum, official order] from the Prince Royal [Crown Prince] of Persia [Iran], Abbas Meerza [Abbas Mirza], to Hossein Khan Sirdar [Hossein Qoli Khan Sardar Qajar], Governor of Erivan [Yerevan]. The rukum forbids the entry of the French envoy, Georges Outrey, and his party to Erivan.
The rukum was enclosed in HM Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Persia, Sir Harford Jones’s letter to the Secret Committee of the East India Company of 15 November 1810, which was received on 11 March 1811.
