Translation of the Preliminary Treaty between Major-General Sir William Grant Keir, on behalf of Great Britain, and Hassan bin Ali [Shaikh Hasan bin Ali al-Qasimi?], the Shaikh of Al-Rams, signed at Ras il Khyma [Ra's al-Khaymah] on 15 January 1820.
The treaty was enclosed in Keir’s letter to HM Chargé d'Affaires to Persia [Iran], Henry Willock, of January 1820 (see IOR/L/PS/9/68/232).
