A copy of a letter from Major George Willock, Acting Chargé d’Affaires in Persia [Iran] to the Secret Committee of the Court of Directors of the East India Company, sent from Tabriz and dated 25 January 1823.
The letter concerns the disavowal by the Government of Bombay [Mumbai] of the agreement between William Bruce, Resident at Bushire [Būshehr], and the Government of Fars in Shiraz (IOR/L/PS/9/69/124 and 131), and forwards related correspondence (IOR/L/PS/9/69/127-134).
