- Dispatch No. 34 from the East India Company Envoy to Persia [Iran], Lieutenant-Colonel John Macdonald Kinneir, in Tabreez [Tabriz], to the Secret Committee of the East India Company, of 16 March 1828, which was received on 7 May 1828. The letter originally enclosed copies of the minor articles and other protocols of the recently signed peace treaty [Treaty of Turkamanchay] ending the war between Russia and Persia [Russo-Persian War, 1826-1828], and copies of the communications that passed between Macdonald Kinneir and the Persian Government prior to the signature of the treaty (not included in this item, now catalogued as IOR/L/PS/9/71/202-252). Included in the letter is an annexed list of the enclosures.
