Sketch map of Bahrain and surrounding area showing proposed oil concessions in the Bahrain Unallotted Area. A letter from the Office of the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf to the Secretary of State for India dated 7 May 1938 (folios 573-576) refers to the sketch.
The map shows proposed new concessions for Petroleum Concessions Limited (PCL), the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), and the existing BAPCO lease. These are indicated by red dotted lines.
