This map shows various interpretations of the boundary between Muscat-controlled Gwadar and the state of Kalat. The boundary lines, drawn in ink, crayon and pencil, are accompanied by printed and handwritten notes in the bottom right-hand corner.
Also indicated on the map are settlements, landmarks, and hydrology. The map includes the following printing statement: 'Printed at the Survey of India Offices (H.L.O.).' Another statement at the top of the map indicates that the map was originally enclosed in a memorandum from the Government of India's External Affairs Department, November 1946. The scale is given as 1 inch = 2 miles.
